Voorwoord
Curro is bevoorreg om tydens ‘n kind se belangrikste vormingsjare sy leerders vir verdere opleiding en vir uiteindelike volwaardige volwassenheid toe te rus. In die verwesenliking van hierdie belangrike verpligting geniet Curro die ondersteun-ing van die ouers, opvoeders, leerders en die breë gemeenskap daar buite. Gevestig op Christelike waardes, dissipline, die tradisies en prestasies op kurrikulêre- en buite-kurrikulêre gebied, is dit die skool se erns om ‘n toonaangewende rol op die terreine te speel. Naas voorkeur aan kurrikulêre uitnemendheid, streef die skool daarna om balans te handhaaf met die rol wat buite-kurrikulêre aktiwiteite in die leerders se skolastiese fase moet vervul. Die leerders is Curro se grootste en belangrikste bate. Motivering,selfwerksaamheid, ‘n onder-soekende ingesteldheid en wedersydse respek is eienskappe wat die skool graag in elke leerder wil vestig. Ook is selfhandhawing, aanpas-baarheid, deernis en begrip van wesenlike belang vir ‘n toekoms waarin tegnologiese vooruitgang en verandering op haas elke lewensterrein steeds sneller gaan plaasvind.
Dit is ons strewe om gelukkige, entoesiastiese en spontane leerders in Curro te onderrig, waar daar vir elkeen volgens sy talente en vermoëns ‘n besondere plek en rol bestaan. Hierdeur glo ons sal hulle in die jare wat kom, met aangename herinneringe en genoegdoening terugdink aan hul vormingsjare by Curro.
Ons sien daarna uit om u kind/ers en u as deel van ons familie van Curro te verwelkom.

Preface
Curro is privileged to educate and give guidance to learners, from their most important development stages until they will become adults in their own right. In the realisation of this important liability Curro enjoys the support of parents, educators, learners and the broad society. Based on Christian values, discipline, traditions and achievements in curricular and extra-curricular areas, it is the earnest of the school to play a leading role in these specific areas.
The school strives to maintain a balance between curricular excellence on the one hand, and extra-curricular activities which play a role in the learners' scholastic phase, on the other hand. The learners are Curro's greatest and most important asset. Motivation, personal initiative, inquisitive mindedness and mutual respect are qualities the school wish to instil in each learner.
Further more the need for self-assertion, adaptability, compassion and understanding is of vital importance for the future where technological progress and change will be evident in nearly all walks of life. We strive to teach happy and enthusiastic learners at Curro where everyone has a place and role according to his/her specific talents and abilities. By this we trust that in the years to come, they will have happy memories of their years at Curro.
